Who wants bak zhang?

I am so nervous when I know I want to make bak zhang, because I only did it once 'n' years ago which I remember I was just helping my mum doing that. I told my mum the other day I want to do it this year, blessed that she highlights some tricks and yayeee, *victory* sign.. It tastes less salty probably I need to add more flavour on the rice next time...

Embossing card

Hello, I want to share here a card which I made for my colleague's birthday. I emboss the card and rub on an rose image, then put on some glitters. That's it!! simple and clean.

Sorry for the shooting skill, don't know why it slants to one side...... LOL

Poppy poppy

Hey, a colleague of mine ordered this from me, lemon poppy. In fact, this is the 2nd time she did it, it was blue cream, now is pink. And ribbon is requested to tie on the cupcake. Sweet right?

Princess's birthday

Jan is my princess birthday month. This year I decided to make her a cake for celebration at school. I bake a carrot cake thinking that is the healthier one for all the young kids. So to the decoration must be related to carrot. I did all the rabbit characters and tiny carrots at the edge of the cake. With past experience, I know it can't be a huge cartoon on the cake, I don't want another collapsing history happened again..LOL..

Continue on with family celebration, I made her a number cake with all the bumble bee and lady birds as the theme. I need to thank to my cousin for helping and playing with me on the cake. We all did a wonderful job on these 2 fondant cakes.

Saw the lovely ladybirds candles? Got it from OZ... love it to the max....

Long lost

Dear all, I have been missing from blogging for few months, wonder where was I huh? Nah.. I didnt miss in somewhere else, but just too busy over these 4 months with lots of events going on.Come and see what I was doing...Pics speak faster.. LOL..

I started busy in December, a collegue ordered 7 lamb pies from me, what a mass production I need to commit at, it is cool!!! roll and roll my pastry on a tiny space, tuck in all the filling, looking at them to turn golden brown and flaky look I know I have made it....

A friend of mine asking to make a fondant cake with the theme with BABY TV characters. This is challenging, I google and find wow it is not easy to make. We choose 2 characters Draco and Tulli. Guess what it turns into a disaster the next day, because the Draco is tooo big and heavy. It pressed down the cake and almost collapse the whole cake. I feel deeply sorry for a friend for not being able to celebrate perfectly. Here the pics with perfect look of the cake. I am into love with this Tulli.

Parties not yet end here. I made mince meat pie as promised to my colleague. This is first time I get to know what is mince meat pie. I thought it is really a 'meat' pie but after some research it is kind of common dessert people is having for Xmas celebration. I bought an instant mince filling {worried I can't make my own}but I still make some filling on my own and surprisingly it turns out so well. And I can accept this sweety pie dessert.

1st Easel card

Hey, here is my first easel card and made it for my sis in Australia. It is such an easy card to make and it stands well.. hahahahah I use my most favourite Christmas card paper for the backgound, cos it glitters. And I stamp the little cute penguin colour it in blue theme. A big wooden star ornament on the top side. On the base, I stick the cardboard Xmas-says, putting stamp ink on it and glittering glue, feeling like the snow falling down yeah..............Merry Xmas.....
