Playing with photos

Currently I am into another project - my Perty trip scrapbooking. I can't expect myself to develop thousands of photos to be scrapbooked in just 20 pages of the book. With no choice, I got to combine photos with my limited skill using photoshop. Let you peep at some of them here...

Cape Leewin - it is located at the most southern part of WA where you can see the ocean line meeting together between Indian and Southern Ocean.

A vineyard we visited on the way in Margaret River.

Duck? Can't identify what kind of species of bird is this. Snapped them at Burswood. They are so clean and lovely, which always in pairs.

Instant noodles always make wonders to traveller. Vanessa is enjoying it on the 1st day reaching Perth City.

Raisin bread

Last nights I wanted to do lucheon bun, however out of my expectation my yeast didn't work on the milk. I did another try, failed. Another one, failed again. Arrgh, I didn't have time to find out why and I straight using yeast in flour method, dumped everything in and mixed. Worries don't end here yet. I waited 40 minutes which according to the book, it takes only 40 mins to rise into double size. But, mine only rise for 20%. Gosh I gave up, just let it be in the bowl, that I came back another hour later. Woooo, it rises into double. But, I have no confident in putting in expensive luncheon ingredient, thus I decided to go just a plain bread, further my little princess already mentioned she wants raisin bread. So it goes.

I was ready to dump it if it came out a hard-rock bread. Surprisely and excitedly I saw it expanding in the oven like pillow.I guessed it is a successful one. Next morning, I quickly slice one and taste, wow, it is so soft and compact... Good Good.......happy happy..

Canna blooms in my garden..

Chiffon cake

Initially I didn't plan to bake chiffon cake. Due to my sister who failed hers and asked for my opinion, thus I gave a try to bake one from a receipe I got from the web. It turned out a good look, but the texture still not chiffon-y enough. I wanted a feather light type, however my 2 old elderly they prefer this way, that it has something to munch.

Xmas scrapbooking

Christmas has over for almost 2 months, but always I take my own sweet time to come out the album. Thus, it always is an expired kind of product.. hahahaha. But, this album is not the normal scrapbook which I usually buy from the bookshop with nice cover and envelope. Due to it's just a simple celebration with a straight forward clean theme, I decided to use the board paper from the boxes in my room. It is light, thick and not easily torned..

Wedding craft

This is my 2nd craft done for wedding gift. It is quite tough to find elegant wrapping paper for wedding theme in my hometown. Thus, I choose to go with single colour like silver, gold or blue silver in hoping to create a classy look on the cover.

Scrapbooking - baby

Hello everybody, it has been long time I didn't drop line on this blog. This is because after Christmas, I was busy with office work, then my baby's birthday, then of course big festival celebration - Chinese New year preparation. Well, after the marathon, I at last can settle down to start my crafting.

I have started doing scrapbooking for my baby. Here are some pages for my loved one....
