'nana cake

OZ people like to call banana as Nana. So I use this cute short term to name my title. I remember I like to buy banana cake in pasar malam when I was in college. I wont miss that whenever I went there. I like the fragrance and the soft texture of it. Always I want to try it out, but just lazy. Today, by chance I stopped by a shop and saw banana was being sold. Thus, I grab 1 bunch and come out with cupcake style. It is too wet, I think I put too much banana, too greedy, and I chunk it instead mash it, too lazy. Thus greedy + lazy = below.

Blueberry cheese bun

I was inspired to make this when my colleague treated me a cheese bun one day. And I remember I had the butter blueberry bun in Brunei before. However, I prefer cheese to butter more, so I combine both. Again, my skill of wrapping the bun is still required more training LOL....

Love in blue

Hi everyone, today weather is wonderful. I am enjoying the cloudless sky and windy blow while having my brunch. I am here too blogging now.

I was known last week that tomorrow is my colleague, Corrine's birthday. What a coincident time that I have a chance to create a blue theme card which I have been thinking all this while. However, I got this challenge that I don't have enough blue-y things, OMG right? I search up and down, down and up all my supplies, huh... I am able to mix and match with the below design. Further, I still can't resist from adding flowers to my card, they are the must things in my card, what a stubborn idea huh.. LOL..

Also the new things I like to play around now is the glittery glue which add a gasp to my card. They do wonders to turn the object more eye catching and glowing. Quick, take a glance now...

Choc n coconut cupcake

I spent my day in a bookshop today and flipped through the books at the cooking and baking corner. Then  I saw this receipe - chocolate and coconut cupcake. Why don't give it a try as I have all the ingredients at home. Another reason why I wanted to try is because it doesn't need soda in the ingredient which I don't like the texture after all.

However, I still need to modify the ingredient, from dark choc to milk choc, from cake flour to self raising flour, because I found I don't have dark choc in my shelf, I lazy to snip a new pack of cake flour just for this cake, thus I just use self raising and ignore the baking powder. I don't think this will make the cake turned into hay wired. But, I made a big mistake *sneak out my tongue*.. LOL.. I forgot to measure my melted butter, I just poured in whatever amount I melted without realising it actually I need 3 tablespoon.

Oh no, I was only wake up when I scooped the batter to the cup. Ya yeee.... would it succeed or not in my mind. Arrgh,... don't care. I just throw the whole batch into the oven. Hmmmpphhh... ya this is the result. It is a bit dry (not much butter I guess) and not sweet enough. ( I need to add a little bit more sugar than the instruction). I have thought a remedy for finishing this - eat with ice cream. Cool idea? LOL.........

Travel scrapbooking

Today I want to share with you one of the pages I do for my travel album. This page is meaningful to me because it is our family gathering with long distance cousin and auntie. Long distance is not the relationship being far, is just the place we stay is far from each other.

We have spent a wonderful night with each other in a cozy embiance of her house. Mum and dad were the happiest couple as they were able to reunion with their beloved niece and grandniece. This moment is treasure for all of us I believe.
